Armed with an understanding of brain science, child psychology and Chinese linguistics (and for older students, exam-taking strategies), ESM has developed its own curriculum that makes learning Chinese effective and fun at the same time. ESM was established in 2000 because of our curriculum owner’s passion for Chinese and a desire to help children master this increasingly useful language.

Karen has been with Laoshi ESM since K2 until Grade 4 and her Chinese has improved a lot. Laoshi ESM is committed to teach, diligent, on-time and always willing to help. She is patient and a great tutor that understands the student's needs. I am very thankful for them.
Zoe has been join ESM for five years (K2 to the beginning of P5 now).Start with lesson only once a week now became fourth to fifth times a week as her high passion in Mandarin grew as well. Both frequent lesson at ESM and her high passion has been made her skill in reading, writing, speaking & vocabulary (hanzi and pinyin) has been increased rapidly. I must say hansel has improved a lot since he joined ESM. The learning process is fun He learnt how to coupe with new things The teacher always encourage hansel to bring out the best in him Though he once forgot to do his homework and the stars has been crossed But he said he wont give up He learnt to be more responsible for his tasks. Teachers have been very patient with kids and always encouraging us. After joining ESM center, My daughter enjoys ESM's curriculum and feel more comfortable with Mandarin learning. Most favorite thing of ESM is that they knows school curriculum and test more than parents. They also reminds me consistently about what we should prepare for. It really helps!!
Since my kids join EMS, their love & passion in Chinese grows bigger everyday. For Chinese lesson at school, mommy never feel worry anymore with any homeworks & exams (including speaking). My kids always feel happy to go to EMS. They always look for the day they can go to EMS. Kids' handwriting & speaking also improve. The teachers are very kind, patient, and discipline. I was a student at ESM during my secondary school years. I remember scoring so badly before ESM and my grades drastically improved after a few lessons. ESM did not only understand my learning style, but also the school curriculum. Attending ESM prepared me well for my later studies in Taiwan and Singapore. Furthermore, my verbal skills also improved so much that I was able to speak Mandarin in front of hundreds of people in Taiwan.
Scarlett has been in ESM since end of P2. At that time her chinese was atrocious but since tutoring in ESM it has been improving a lot. Her results are so much better now in matter of months only. ESM lao shi has been great and hands-on in helping her to get back on track.

I have learn Mandarin in ESM since I was in K2 until I graduated school. ESM helped me very much throughout my years in school. Thanks to ESM, I was able to score high scores for my Mandarin tests throughout the years, including my IGCSE, A-Levels Mandarin as a Second Language test, and HSK 5 Test. Until now, the knowledge that ESM gave me is still very useful in my life because until now, I can still speak Mandarin. I believe ESM is the best Mandarin learning center in Jakarta.
Since the twins joined ESM, their Chinese has improved, and they don't find it difficult to study at school anymore. Laoshi at ESM, they are very detailed and really care about children's development. Twin enjoys studying at ESM, hopefully in the future ESM will always be the best for our children.
Easy study mandarin is a great place to study reading, writing and speaking. The teachers can speak fluent chinese, and if the student wants to they are very cooperative in assisting in conversation. I can speak Chinese fairly well now!
Bianca’ ability in Chinese writing and speaking has been developed so much since she joined ESM. She always had a fun time at ESM,thus, encouraged her to learn even more. The teacher at ESM is very informative, so we as parents are well aware of our kid’s learning progress. She is also a great and fun tutor, I am so happy to have joined ESM. It was the best decision ever in my kid’s chinese learning journey.

ESM is mandarin magic! Kaia and Kyra both joined ESM since K1.. and since we do not speak mandarin at all in our household, in the beginning mandarin seemed very hard and they did not like it. But since they joined ESM, their love for mandarin started to grow and grow. Their knowledge in mandarin has improved a lot too! Now they are very excited everytime they have lessons at ESM, and they always get great scores at school even though they never practiced or reviewed mandarin at home. That day when we came for a trial I was so assured that this is the right place for my son to start learning mandarin. My son didn't have any basic mandarin to start with. However he enjoys the learning experience they have here and is always so excited to go to the class. So far he is very well managed to follow through the lessons and making a significant progress. I am a student at ESM and I have improved so much. I remember I used to be so bad at Chinese, but after I joined ESM, my scores went up. Not just my scores that improved, but I can speak Chinese more fluently too! At ESM, not only we can learn Chinese, but we can also socialize and make new friends! Willow began her journey at ESM in K2 with no background in Chinese. To build a strong foundation, it was suggested she start at the K1 level. This approach helped her strengthen her basics before moving forward. Even without Chinese spoken at home, Willow has made impressive progress. She’s now able to follow and perform well in her school’s Chinese curriculum. We’re grateful for the structured guidance and support from the ESM team. it’s been a positive and encouraging journey.
